Easy Home Workouts

If you have an LA Fitness membership like I do, then this is the blog for you because LA Fitness has been closed for the majority of this pandemic. Contrary to popular belief, you don’t need a gym to get a good work out. In fact, all you need is you!

Try these exercises in 1 minute intervals:

  • Jumping Jacks
  • Squats
  • Lunges
  • High Knees
  • Sit-ups
  • Push-ups

Home workouts are great because you can go as hard as you want. More intense training is completely possible with HIIT style workouts. HIIT is high intensity interval training and is even more fun than it sounds.

Basically, you can continually switch between the above workouts with little or no breaks. One benefit to trying this method is that you’ll finish working out sooner.

Here are some exercises that work well with HIIT style training:

  • Planks
  • Side-to-side runs
  • Tricep dips
  • Mountain Climbers
  • Reverse lunges

The possibilities are endless, you can do a million different workouts, all it takes is imagination and motivation.
